Individuals, couples, groups and families are seen in Burlington, Ontario. Special arrangements can be made to meet with Marilyn in other locations, however travel time and transportation costs will apply.

Consultations are based on a fee of $200.00 per hour with GST included and are billed in fifteen minute blocks. Most appointments are one hour in length. If you would like a longer session please arrange for that when you contact Marilyn. Missed appointments are billed if 24 hours notice is not given.

Many Employee Assistance Programmes and Extended Health Care Insurance packages will cover all or a portion of the fee. Ask your Human Resource Department or your insurance company if the services of a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist are covered. Ask if your doctor needs to make the referral as some plans require this. You can request to have these services covered when your company is negotiating their benefit package. Fees are also income tax deductible as a medical expense. Fees can be a business expense for people who own their own business.

Receipts that can be submitted for reimbursement are given for session payments or your company will be billed.

Marilyn does not have a sliding scale for fees.

For people who would like confidential assistance and because of distance, time restrictions or who are regular clients and want to make contact between appointments, phone and email contact is available. Time is billed at the same rate as personal appointments.
